is there a feeling that we have a lack of dirt races?
Whatta mean Super OLD?
I mention that this should be a Halloween race with the start/finish at the Cemetery? Extra points if you beat the bear in the intermediate sprint.
Is this a August "road to cross transition" thing so the hardpack is hopefully dry, or is this a spring mud slog?
@anon- I don't feel like there are enough races with dirt sections. and it only takes one person, if that person will promote the race too!
@andrew- i would do it in summer. these aren't cross races, although they definitely should appeal to cross riders, and winter/spring in the NW is a fickle mistress.
That would be a relatively tough course. I think the race would be won and lost on the climbs up Mullinex and Banner Road. I think entries might be higher, and the dirt section would feature more if you tunrned left on Orchard, then back onto SE Olalla and left onto Banner Road to the beginning of the dirt section again.
