Emde Wins Furnace Creek 508
It's official, Michael won the 2006 Furnace Creek 508. Yah! He put in 80 minutes on the 2nd place. The real story is that he crashed between time checks 2 and 3 on the decent and still finished the race. Sweet.

Did he crash because the wind messed with his wheels? Wouldn't surprise me! LOL!
Geez the disc and 808 front must have been good for about an hour or 2 over that distance! ;-)
apparently he was decending on the Cervelo (yah, pictured was the confort bike!) and Marla called on the radio.. he put a hand on the talk button, hit a hole and went into the pavement. Ouch. I bet he actually liked it though knowing Emde.
