Wednesday Night Racing

Based on the comments in the previous wednesday night racing thread there may be real interest in a series.

I am willing to spearhead Project Race in Seattle but I need some help. What are we looking for in a series race? (I know that's open ended). And anyone have leads on a venue? I know one requirement is that it doesn't need corner marshals.

Sure- how about the track at Marymoor? There's even a masters field... and it's already in the works. No marshals required or work required - just show up and race.

PruDog like road racing more than PruDog like the track racing. The math hurt Prudog's head. Make PruDog want to smash puny lap board.

Why don't official leave PruDog alone!

I've raced in Brisbane and London where they have dedicated bike racing parks. The London one was really cool with a PR type track complete with a man-made hill. They varied the course weekly and had tons of people there. The Brisbane course was a simple loop, but similar turnouts. It seems like somethat that might get some mileage in Seattle. Add a BMX course to the infield and maybe a skate park? Pru - maybe you can make that your charge? You're good at that politic'ing thing right?

Let me talk to some of the Byrne Squad and the Board. There were a few of us interested in getting another weekday series going.
