Pru-Sickity

PruPuppy started school and I already have my first cold of the Fall. Coincidence? Hmmm. Anyway, Saturday and Sunday 9am Zoka rides are on. Of course we'll have to waid through the wall of WoW riders but we'll survive. And I don't have the energy to harass ya Soupy.

Now you might be wondering why I have a picture of Nathan on my blog entry. Well, I sent these clowns to an NRC an what did I get? 2 Pictures. No calls, no emails. Just 2 pictures. The other picture was of a box so I figured I'd go with Nathan. I think he is hiding from Mr. Boots, who probably was trying to make him clean his Bandits and launder the one set of kit I sent him. But I am not sure. Boots ended up like 32nd and given how maniacal he was when he was sitting 92nd at Toona I can't blame Nathan for hiding.

So, this is what I see when I go to your team website from the WSBA site.

"AxleyUSA.com / Spoke & Sprocket"

has exceeded its file storage limit and is temporarily disabled.

The Head Webmaster of this site is:
Michael Pruitt
Send email

We suggest you contact the Head Webmaster to make them aware you are trying to view the "AxleyUSA.com / Spoke & Sprocket" site.

Was your site infiltrated by someone you brutally attacked on your blog??? Who could that be????

you shouldn't go to our team website! eteamz.com charged us for a service package and appears to have decided to change the cost of the package after the fact. we weren't anywhere near our storage limit and it was the same amount of stuff for the last 2 years.

nathan definitely got eaten by that "dog," which was really a dinosaur. and it could smell fear. mostly nathan's fear. good thing there was a friendly dog at my house. so much for "host" housing. Cesar will definitely kill everything in the UPMK.

we were working on really detailed race reports, but they weren't very coherent b/c everyone was suffering from hypoxia... the good news is that we've firmly established AxleyUSA as the sketchiest team around - first some dude thought shawn was too fast so he hooked him with his handlebars, causing a huge pile up that involved, among others, the national criterium champ... then some crca kid was giving me lip so I "forgot to turn" and took him into the curb. unfortunately, we both stayed up. good times.

mr. boots, aka "the little girl" decided that he should bust out the tt bike for fridays stage. it was entertaining and after watching him average 7 watts for the 7 mile effort, i was pretty sure that he isn't very tall....

on saturday, we woke up to a beautiful, windy colorado day. my nose was bleeding and i am almost positive that i heard mr. boots crying in his sleep. it could be because of the mouse that was slapping him around the night before, but we will probably never know. the road race was ridiculous and neutral support was horrible. mr. boots earned some respect by finishing in the field, but then lost it all by not getting drunk with me that night....

the crit on sunday was actually fun. it was very nascar-esque with a "D" shape course. i never saw any of the axley guys during the race, but they told me all about crashes and mayhem that they caused. so, all in all a very exciting trip....

sunday night, i ventured with current and future teammate zirbel to the menzies going away party. a few highlights were zirbel and menzies having a wrestling match, menzies eating a cat, dave towle being COMPLETELY wasted at 9:30pm, watching zirbel get speed stripes cut into his mullet, me being drunk by 10pm and then sobering up enough to meet a bus at 3:30am to go the airport and get on a 6am plane to portland, and so forth...
